Wakelings Duel — Privacy Policy

Effective: July 15, 2026

Wakelings Duel is a single-player puzzle game by Really Random Studio, LLC. We built it to collect as little as possible. The game itself collects nothing; the iOS app shows ads, and this page explains exactly what that involves.

What the game collects

Nothing. Wakelings Duel has no accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics of ours. Your campaign progress and settings are stored only on your device (local storage) and never leave it. Deleting the app deletes them.

Advertising (iOS app)

The iOS version shows advertisements served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may process data on their side, including your device's advertising identifier (only with your permission — see below), IP address, coarse location derived from it, device information, and ad interaction data (for example, which ads were shown and tapped). We do not receive or store this data ourselves. You can read how Google uses this data in Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use their services.

Your choices: on iOS, the app asks permission before using your advertising identifier (App Tracking Transparency). If you decline, you still get ads — just non-personalized ones. You can change this any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. In the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland, a consent dialog lets you choose how ads are served, and you can revisit that choice from the ads' in-dialog options.

Web and portal versions

Wakelings Duel is also playable on the web, including on game portals such as CrazyGames and GameDistribution. On those sites, any advertising around or inside the game is served by the portal under its own privacy policy; our game adds no tracking of its own there.

The Reddit version

On Reddit, daily scores are submitted to a leaderboard under your Reddit username. That version is governed by Reddit's own privacy policy; the apps share no data with each other.

Children

Wakelings Duel is suitable for all ages but is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The iOS app is not enrolled in Apple's Kids Category.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data ourselves, most privacy rights around advertising data are exercised through your device (the tracking permission above, or resetting your advertising identifier) and through Google's ad controls. If you believe we can help with a privacy request under GDPR, CCPA, or a similar law, contact us and we will do our best.

Changes

If we change what the game collects or how ads work, this page and the App Store privacy details will be updated first, with a new effective date.
